Community Initiatives

Job Development

Our job development program supports Sudanese and South Sudanese women in San Diego as they prepare for meaningful, long-term employment. Through resume and interview coaching, basic digital skills, workplace communication, and connections to local employers, women gain the confidence and community support they need to enter or re-enter the workforce.

Vital Skills Learning

Our Vital Skills Program equips women in our community with practical tools for everyday life—offering training in basic technical literacy, driving, CNA certification, and financial literacy. Together, we create a supportive space where women gain confidence,

Workshops

This program offers workshops in mental and physical health education, as well as sessions on understanding and exercising your legal rights, and also where to find essential community resources.
